FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Sara Cathriner
Welcome to UNT's Fine Arts Fraternity, Beta Gamma Omega. We’re excited to get to know you. Our focus is preserving the fine arts in schools as well as the local community, and we’re constantly looking for new and meaningful ways to do so.
If you are looking for a way to get involved at UNT, become a part of a tight-knit community, or just looking for a way to better connect yourself to Denton's fine-arts, Beta Gamma Omega may be the place for you. Thanks for taking a moment to explore our website to learn more about us!

RUSH
2 Weeks Long
Our Rush typically takes place 2 weeks after the beginning of each semester, spanning two weeks, our first week of events held on Tuesday/Thursday, and week two's events held on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. This is in effort to accommodate everyone's schedule's at some point in this process!
While not every rush event is mandatory, we do ask that our prospective members attend at least one in order to continue on into Candidacy!

CANDIDACY
6 Weeks Following Rush
Candidacy is the next step on the journey to become a BrO. Now that prospective members have had a chance to get to know us as people, they get to learn about what our organization does and how we operate over the course of a six week candidacy period. During these six weeks, candidates will receive a "Big BrO" to help guide them through the process, and therefore be integrated into our family aspects. This portion includes meetings on Monday evenings to learn from our Membership Education Coordinator about BrO's history, traditions, and values.

CROSSING
Conclusion of Candidacy
Finally, after lots of effort made to learn everything there is about how to be a BrO, we conclude Candidacy by Crossing former candidates as newly active members of Beta Gamma Omega.
